I have had the honor of serving on the San Carlos School District Board of Trustees for the last two years. During my time on the Board I've focused on ensuring that every student gets the support they need, that we manage the District's finances carefully, and that we deliver facility upgrades effectively.

Our family settled in San Carlos because of the great schools and community it offered for our kids. When seats opened up on the School Board after the 2024 election, I sought an appointment to build on the schools' strong performance and to support the delivery of the District's Facilities Master Plan and bond-funded Measure H projects.

With over 15 years of professional experience developing and delivering capital projects for public agencies, I brought unique expertise to the Board. Professionally, I was previously appointed by Governors Newsom and Brown as the Northern California Regional Director at the California High-Speed Rail Authority and I now serve as the Assistant General Manager for Planning and Development at BART.

This community has given my family great schools, real friendships, and a place where our kids can thrive. That's why I want to keep serving on the School Board: to give back to a community that has invested so much in our kids, and to make sure every San Carlos family can count on the same strong schools we've been fortunate to have.
